The Design was created using three main principals: maximizing ocean views, optimizing recreational park areas above the parking, and utilizing the surrounding connections of the existing urban fabric.
The proposed design creates a landscaped park across the entire site. While covering the parking garage, the green-scape folds down onto the ground level, allowing a fluid connection to the existing fabric. The facets of the landscape simultaneously integrate five separate housing buildings with two concealed, above-ground parking areas and a series of designated outdoor and indoor shared recreational and amenity spaces. A lush greenery experience and the feeling of living within a park is enhanced with light-filled and green, open-air corridor spaces. Generous balcony spaces that penetrate outwards from each unit relate with the landscaped topography below and maximize Eastern facing views that orient towards the beach and ocean ahead.
