Sagaponack Barn

Barn, Sagaponack, 2006

Sagaponack | 2012

The client purchased a barn with the intention of converting it into a single family home. The existing barn was fully enclosed and had no windows. However, the surrounding landscape was pristine and possessed spectacular views of the countryside. By adding a pair of floor – to – ceiling glass sliding doors, studioMDA was able to effectively open the interior of the house to the landscape, creating a clear relationship between the interior and exterior. The sliding doors facilitates in the blurring of these boundaries.
