The building juxtaposes the programs of galleries and residences, reflecting the changing dynamics of Chelsea. The raw solid base houses the gallery spaces, while the crystalline jewel like structure of the tower emerges extruding carefully framed views of the city and the Hudson River. The 18-story tower is composed of residences for art collectors. The residences are designed to create a balance between functional living spaces while optimizing the display of art.
